How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings > Delete Account within the app. This permanently removes all your data including sessions, messages, insights, and voice recordings. You can also request deletion by emailing korab@puntoria.com.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings > Export Data to download a full JSON copy of all your data.

How do I set up daily reminders?

Go to Settings > Daily Reminder to choose a time. The app will send a gentle local notification to remind you to reflect.

Why does the app ask for microphone access?

Microphone access is only used for voice reflections — you can speak instead of typing. This is entirely optional and only activates when you tap the microphone button.

Is my data private?

Yes. ThatWasMyDay uses anonymous authentication — no email, name, or Apple ID is collected. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (TLS). Your conversation data sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) is not used for model training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I get an Anthropic API key?

Visit console.anthropic.com to create an account and generate an API key. You'll need to add credits to your Anthropic account. Most users spend around $3–5/month on API usage with daily use.

Is my API key secure?

Yes. Your API key is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM with a per-user encryption key. It is stored in your iOS Keychain locally and encrypted on our servers. You can remove it at any time from Settings.

The app isn't working properly

  1. Make sure you're on the latest version of the app
  2. Restart the app
  3. Check your internet connection — the app requires an active connection for AI features
  4. If the issue persists, email us at korab@puntoria.com with a description of the problem
